In 2019, after the passing of his father, Tye Turner launched Medicle, a streetwear and fashion brand inspired by the positive impact of technology on him growing up.
As well as the founder, Tye is also the designer and creative director of the brand. Intrigue in the intricate process of fashion design has pushed Tye to focus on garment construction and development, looking to hone his craft and share his unique take on modern fashion. All garments are cut and sewn, offering a unique fit and feel exclusive to Medicle. Despite no formal education, Tye’s design capabilities include t-shirts, hoodies, knitwear, trousers and even lifestyle products such as rugs.
Tye is an active member in the Perth fashion community and plans to continue to grow the brand and support the thriving scene.
Local artists such as TGNB & Dafoe Studio have also designed graphics for the brand.
Tye also has a twin brother, Jules Turner, who runs his own fashion brand Turnerboucaut.
